Considering how every server needs money for hosting ect, i would consider maybe starting a donation box of the sort, in which players donate towards funding of the server. Im not shure how you would like to balance it out but its up to you to decide.

I agree with it. The server needs hosting money and money for coders if we have enough. Still hope it will work out.

And trust me, after all these years and all these false promises, i got a better view of stuff. One that's neither "mainstream" as they call it, nor this so called "revolutionary" shit. It's called a realistic view of the world. To get back on topic, we should start a Kickstarter project, with some 200$ being our goal. So, we make it, we then advertise it, and if we get the money for it in a month, it gets transferred to us! Also, you might want to pretty things up for Kickstarter, maybe call SS13 a "freeware, open-source, space exploration Indie game full of blablablaindiesoithasasouldandallthatshitblablablahalfofthemoneygoestosomeafricannigs", you know, just like what each and every "Indie" game is doing for the last 5 years!
